Zentangle in Paint

I also tried a few Zentangles with acrylic paint. Just to see what would happen.

Both of these are 5 x 7 inch canvas boards with acrylic paint.

The second one I added the tangle with a acrylic paint pen.

I have a few more in the works once I get a better handle on mixing the mediums a bit.

Zentangles and Zen Doodles

So I started a new art form or style that I did a little reading on. Thought I would give it a try and am now hooked. The Zentangles and zen doodle style is hypnotic in many ways. The basic of it is simple shapes and patterns on a smaller page. The drawings are on nothing really bigger the 3 1/5 inch squares. All done with pen and pencil. I have also seen some amazing examples where some water colour paint is added in.

So I guess I will now show a few of the ones that I like out of my sketch pad.
